Cornaberto was part of my final project in an experimental photography course at Princeton. The work depicts a porcelain Sargadelo amulet from Galicia. This project was showcased at the 2023 Experimental Photo Festival in Barcelona.

To achieve this effect, I employed and developed photographic printing techniques. The dark blue is from a cyanotype print, the yellow-green is from a gum bichromate print with fluorescent pigment, and the pink is from a gum bichromate print with thermochromic pigment. For hydrophobic pigments, like the pink thermochromic powder I used, it can be mixed into solution and printed selectively by adding a few drops of soap as an emulsifier. With these techniques I was able to get 3 photographs in one!
